Why we use BDD??

A lot of people were asking this question, as I am talking about BDD so many that people get bored .

Microsoft will focus on BDD in the next era for a lot of reason. The main reason that it facilitate the desktop deployment and reduce the cost and time required for deploying new pc’s and upgrading the old ones. The second reason that Microsoft is obligated to upgrade the client desktop machines from windows XP to windows Vista (this applies only to corporate customers with EA “enterprise agreement”) and to upgrade medium size company (250-500) PC using regular way will take decades and BDD and SMS will automate the process and make it so painless.

I didn’t knew how Microsoft upgraded PC’s from windows 2000 to windows xp, I was managing a small size company with 80 desktop and group of servers, and I upgraded them manually (and we lost al lot of data :).

So BDD will minimize the required time, keep and maintain consistent way of keeping and restoring data.
